Not exactly standard Navy SEAL do-rag issue, the Buff Wear bandana is a colorful modern take on very useful piece of kit that’s been around a long time.
Basically a simple tube of wicking polyester, it’s stretchy enough that it can be worn as a bandana, neck gaiter, pony tail holder, helmet liner, even over-the-eyes since it’s sheer enough to see through.
I remember using an old British Army version of this as a garrison cap, a configuration that Buff Wear seems to have missed. I would show you, but then I’d have to kill you…
I bought one for my girlfriend to use in Morocco as an emergency head-scarf in the more traditional Islamic areas. Also useful for hiding helmet- and bed-head after the fact. Not advised for use as a birth control device or STD barrier.
