Black Diamond Ice gloves

Ice_glovesOK, I’m a big fat nasty gear whore. There, I admit it. Two positive reviews of Black Diamond equipment in a row, but what can I say? They earn it.

I like the Ice gloves because (a) they’re Schoeller Extreme and I am on a quest to own every item ever made with this fabric, and (b) they are toasty warm down to negative temps, but still maintain good dexterity for handling tools.

They do not have liners, which many people prefer because you can remove them for drying out. I’m still looking for the perfect two-layer glove, with an inner that performs well on its own. I have to admit I have not tried BD’s Guide glove, which is rated to even colder temps than the Ice.
